Rob Galline France: Europe, Ursula von der Leyen and Macron: a betrayal of France and its values. What Europe has caused to France is nothing but an insidious form of destruction. Before its integration into this supranational entity, France was certainly complicated, but it had solid foundations: a flourishing industry, world-renowned economic giants, and a strong cultural identity. Citroën, Renault, Thomson, Alstom, – these names resonated as symbols of innovation and national pride. Textiles, with emblematic brands such as Lacoste, also represented an economic and cultural wealth. France shone thanks to its tourism, its creativity and its central role in technological progress But little by little, under the destructive influence of the European market and unbridled capitalism, all this collapsed. French companies have relocated their activities to countries where labour is cheaper, abandoning France to maximise their profits in the name of a disembodied European project. Today, France has lost almost all of its historic industries. Automotive, technology, textiles – all of that is now a thing of the past. And who is responsible for it? Emmanuel Macron, the president who acts as a puppeteer of the European Union, and Ursula von der Leyen, the figurehead of a Europe disconnected from human realities. BIGGER IS BIG...: Are we being tricked in broad daylight and applauding?! The bigger, the better... and no one moves. I am the first to do so, but like you, I refuse violence. How far are we going to let it happen?!?
