The 38-year-old, an alleged high-ranking member of the Kinahan organized crime group, was taken into custody by Dubai police on Thursday, October 10. The arrest follows the issuance of an INTERPOL Red Notice, or International Alert for Wanted Persons, to support ongoing collaboration between the Irish and Emirati authorities.
